altThe Georgia Health Services University (GHSU), the state's health sciences university, offers resources and services for those throughout Georgia and beyond. In addition to second-to-none health care services offered through MCG Health, Inc., the university offers continuing education courses; community seminars, workshops and health fairs; tours for the community and prospective students; organizations to strengthen GHSU's bond with the community; and many other resources.

GHSU has a genuine interest in, and a commitment to, economic development in Augusta. The Office of Technology Transfer & Economic Development is the home of the business incubator in the newest research building on the GHSU campus. The incubator, known as the Life Sciences Business Development Center (LSDBC), occupies most of the second floor in the Interdisciplinary Research Building located on campus. It has approximately 16,000 gross square feet of space thatalt accommodate the incubator and the technology transfer offices.
